Epic Opposition: Joomla versus Drupal
You know things are different today but it seems to me that these two are always will be rivals in the CMS battlefield. I do believe that both platforms are great but can’t miss opportunity to say few words about these guys. It is not a secret that Joomla is younger than Drupal but now this CMS platform has one of the biggest communities and it is very important for simple users. The point is that both platforms have many positive similar features. I think that you’ll agree with me that easy deployment, available versioning, simple content editing, comfortable and functional administration user interface are great in both platforms. Nevertheless that I’m Joomla fan and believe that Joomla 1.5 templates are the easiest way to build cool website with remarkable design I know that we have some negative moments. Joomla is not so SEO-friendly as we wish but I hope that these aspects will improve in the nearest future. Of course many of you were frustrated because all these troubles with paid modules and other Joomla specialties. And if you are professional blogger Joomla will be not enough for you I must say that it is one of main problems for them. As for Drupal I have heard a lot of different thoughts but I can tell you for sure that if you will decide to change design for your Drupal website it will be very time consuming. Anyway I think that you have your own opinion concerning Joomla and Drupal and this small post is just my 2 cents. :). See ya!
